Glad the police aren't letting this virus keep them from risking it on the streets to put away hardened criminals!

frick the police, I hated them before, after the pLandemic I hate them twice as much now.

The police are NOT your friends, they don't care anything about you, I figured this out the day I got my driver's license.

the horror of posting on facebook that you'll be happy to do someone's nails.

GROUNDS FOR A FULL-ON STING OPERATION.

reminds me of NYC cops setting up an entire fake wall and hiding 4 cops behind it 24/7 in order to catch someone on the subway who was spraying MAGA grafitti.

oh and they GOT 'IM! GREAT USE OF RESROURCES!

The decision makers - the chief and command staff - likely all have 4 year degrees and probably masters, as well.

Sure and that’s good but they can’t be at every call or have influence at every call. The officer there has almost ultimate discretion in how to handle it

The arresting officers are not the ones that set up the Kung Flu Task Force in the first place.

And since this was a called in to a tip line I'd guess it went by a couple people before the officers were called out.

welcome to 2020 America where we release actual criminals from jail because of a virus and arrest innocent people in their homes because of the same virus.

Correct-amundo. Not only that, it was an undercover operation, not a sporadic decision made by officers on the street in a real time situation. There was likely an ops plan that went up the flag pole. Management knew.

i hope the covid taskforce is paying people to monitor TD posts and serve chicken with subpoenas for IP addresses to track us down!

Maybe thats what the TD t-shirt giveaway on the OT is for...just a ruse to get home addresses of posters that the Covid task force is after

Such bravery, to bust major criminals like this and not have to use the SWAT team! Busting a dangerous cosmetic ring!

The good people of Laredo should run both cops, the chief of police and the mayor out of town.

WTF?

I was wondering the same thing...COVID-19 Taskforce Enforcement?...sounds like Gestapo to me...we have flat out forgotten what all this means and, metaphorically speaking, people are blindly walking into "showers" only to find out they are actually gas chambers.

This has got to be something of what it must felt like for our founding fathers and founding generation...and, here we go again.
