He was a teenager when be did it. frick these loose juvenile criminal laws. Slap on the wrist for weed or shoplifting, I can live with it. Murder or rape, put them under the jail.
The news story about the Rochester man who raped two girls under the age of 10 and received only 180 days in jail is true. The man, Mohamed Bakari Shei, was sentenced to 180 days in jail with credit for four days already served, plus up to 30 years of probation. He pleaded guilty to two counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct involving two juvenile girls—one around 9 years old and the other between 4 and 5 years old at the time of the assaults. The assaults occurred when Shei was 15 and 16 years old, so he was prosecuted as an adult but had been initially charged in juvenile court.
Shei's plea deal included no prison time beyond the 180 days, a stay of adjudication, and dismissal of two out of three charges. If he completes his probation successfully, all charges will be dismissed, and the convictions will not be part of his criminal record. The case faced delays due to the COVID-19 pandemic, affecting prosecutorial jurisdiction. The victims' family members spoke in court about the lasting trauma and impact of Shei's actions on the children and their families.
This plea deal and sentence have sparked controversy and dissatisfaction given the severity of the crimes and the young age of the victims [1][2][8].

Slo, what do you believe is the correct punishment for each case? If you think it’s a thin case for rapist then that’s a different issue. Assuming it is as written how would you issue justice?

She;s not going to get max sentence.
She will not be sentenced to anything. She can essentially say anything derogatory she chooses to say, other than threatening someone.
She could just as easily refer to me or any of my tribe as redskins if she wants to.

I’ve said it dozens of times here and I’ll say it again:
If you are a white and still live in a blue state you deserve everything that’s going to happen to you and your family.

It's ignorant but it's not a crime.

Using the N word isn’t a crime.
It's free speech, well in some areas of the country anyway. In others it's a hate crime.

She is going to own MN after this.

In all areas of the USA it's free speech.
Unfortunately, we have cowards in positions of power who'd rather screw your freedoms than deal with the violent 'cultcha' who'll get fake offended over the most imagined & made up grievances.
They stood by and watched as statues got pulled down, as businesses got burned and looted, and as innocent people got attacked.
All to protect the most fragile of us all, the perpetual race hustlers & hurt feelings grifters.
