$1,776 for a new car? I need that guy negotiating for me.

i had my ultra wealthy daddy find a crooked doctor to write a note about my non-existent bone spurs and voila! no military service!

So...as I suspected.
Big mouth about other guys who didn't serve, but never had what it took yourself. Not surprising.

Brenda had that money spent before the ink got dry on the EO.
Remember standing in line at an ATM one time. First day off in a few weeks and mfers beat to shite and ready to eat, drink and relax for a day or two.
But not the folks with Brendas. They'd put in their cards in the machine and get denied because had less then $20 in the account which was the minimum withdrawal.
Then they'd get bought drinks all night when everyone else felt bad.
Also seen a number mfers get home with their family housing cleaned tf out and bank accounts emptied.
So beware of those Brendas and remember that the cheapest women are often the ones you pay for.

That's a lot of words to say you never served.
And it's fine that you didn't. Most don't, but I'd caution on whining about a modest benefit for those who are active duty. It's less than 2Gs.

They do have a job, and I'd wager they work more than you.

right. because everything you criticize, you've done/experienced yourself. i doubt i even have to ask how you feel entitled to chime in on women's reproductive choices
but that's diffeRent!

hey great for the soldiers, they deserve it! i'm laughing at trump rerouting money to make it appear as if he negotiated some great benefit for the soldiers, and also at godfather1 who wants to criticize me for not having served - which like you said, most haven't - while also praising djt who not only didn't serve, but had his wealthy daddy buy his way out of service during a draft. can't have it both ways

As the other guy said, that's a lot of words to call yourself a hypocritical pussy.
I was US Army, 1991-1999. Combat engineer. If I took a straw poll of every guy I served with, I can virtually guarantee that about 98% of them would take no issue with anyone who did what it took to get out of Vietnam. It was a horseshite war we had no business being in.
If we don't have a problem with it, then who the frick are you?
BTW, I guarantee you never said jack shite about Bill Clinton's "deferments" or Joe Biden's "childhood asthma".

good for you, thanks for your service. i mean that sincerely. if it makes you feel any better, i've been a 16 year volunteer with mountain rescue in colorado, responding to 120+ calls a year. while we don't get shot at, i can promise you going to look for a lost hunter in a blizzard carries real life risk of death. and that's all on my dime - no housing stipends, no $1,776 bonuses, rarely even an attaboy
but how do you say this -
like i said, you can't have it both ways
but how do you say this -

I have also not heard any stories where Congress passed legislation authorizing the release of these funds.
It was appropriated in the BBB for military housing allowance.
