NBC buried this poll data. It was on the ticker on MSNBC last night. That is almost 200K voters. Not one word about it today anywhere.

That seems to be worded funny. Maybe it means what you're saying, but it looks like it means 16% won't vote for just either candidate. Only the one they like?

Michigan has an open primary so many of those voters could have been republicans.

They have exit polling data on all the dem primaries. If you look at the enthusiasm results it doesn't seem like there is much enthusiasm for any of the candidates. North Carolina and Virginia have similar results to Michigan.

And Trump had fantastic numbers for an incumbent facing no real opposition in the primary.
I think Michigan is reasonably safe. Dems have their best chance to flip a key Trump state is going to be Pennsylvania. If it is just a little closer than 2016, they can manufacture votes in Philly to get over the finish line.

This is not surprising considering how far left Bernie Sanders is

To explain your bar chart further the purple 48% are Bernie voters. Since the nominee is almost certainly Biden at this point, that means nearly 8% of the Michigan Dem primary voters don't think they'll vote for Biden in November.

Don't look at the whole 16%, just the share that isn't Biden supporters which is 68% of the 16% or about 11% of the total.
I would also want to know how that compares to years past.

Hopefully Biden plans to campaign even harder in factories around the state through the election to try to turn that around.

How many Republicans said they would NEVER vote for Trump. 16% is actually a good number for Biden and the Dems.
