It saddened me when I got this letter. We've been doing business with them of over 30yrs.

That sucks. The effects of COVID are going to be felt for a long time, and they won't be health effects.

And the left wing celebrates. This is exactly the result they are looking for

It wasn't Covid that killed them. It was the response to it by the Michigan (and partly the US) government that killed them.

A side effect of the lockdowns liberals wanted. They hate small businesses.

Little Giant Ladders getting in to the industrial ladder business did not help them

The government didn't kill that company, fiberglass and aluminum ladders did. They made wooden ladders. They were just a reseller of fiberglass and aluminum ladders made overseas.

yeah you're probably right. its likely just a coincidence that a 120 year old company went out of business this year even though aluminum ladders have been around for 90 years.
idiot

Do you own a wooden ladder? Home Depot doesn't sell wooden ladders. The supply chain problems are because they don't actually make what they sell. Perhaps they should also examine the effect of tariffs on the supply chain for foreign ladders that they "assemble in the USA."
It's a bad thing when venerable American companies go under. However, when the market for the product you sell changes, you need to change with it.

The stupidity of this statement is incredible.

Wal Mart, Amazon, Home Depot, Lowes made record profits. Never forget these companies are the enemy of the people.
