It is time for some discussion of "Resistance: Fall of Man".
This video game features plantation shootouts and mentions Baton Rouge, LA as one of the last strongholds of humanity. Was the fate of Donaldsonville, LA ever mentioned? Was the shootout with aliens occurring at one of its surrounding plantations?
Are there any games that do make mention of the river town?

I always see a bunch of people sitting on porches in donaldsonville when I pass through. Thanks to black I will now call them the arm pit hairs of Donaldsonville.

I really liked it. Was a very fun launch title and had 64 man online. A pretty good accomplishment for consoles in 2006.

I only played a little single player but I found it boring. I can't stand fps that are just go here go there

Made by Ratchet developers, so it was more about story and cool weapons than it was a dynamic campaign like CoD or BF.
