Hangover 3 is pretty awesome

Watching Hangover 3 for the first time on HBO. This movie is friggin hilarious, and I feel like it is the real sequel to the first one. Allen is as funny as he was in the first one, and there a few surprises in the story since it's not a carbon copy like Hangover 2.
Haven't heard many people talk about Hangover 3, and hadn't heard good things when they did, but I feel like if this was Hangover 2 and the Bangkok story never happened, then the series would have been perfect (for what it is I mean).

The part I laughed hard on was when Allen walks up to black Doug's car and says "what's up ni**a". The look on Black Doug's face was priceless

Well, I'm about 45 minutes in and like it so far. It just feels more in the spirit of the first Hangover (ironically enough considering Hangover 2 was basically a remake).

Just finished the movie and this scene, and I legit enjoyed the movie. Don't get the hate for it, but to each their own.

I like all three. I don't get the hate either. I like #2 better than #3, but I've only seen #3 one time.

Neither the 2nd nor 3rd movie were that bad.
The expectations were WAY too high for both sequels, so naturally people hate them.

The 1st was by far the best. Didn't care much for the 2nd, but 3 was pretty good.

3 wasn't bad at all.
And for me, it's not that 2 was bad...it was just almost the exact same movie with the exact same plot twists (only more over the top). It was just lazy, and I didn't like that.
3 was a much better effort than 2.

The Hangover Part III makes the Hangover Part II look like a masterpiece.

Hangover I thought was one of the funniest movies I've ever seen

I agree, thought 3 was more of a sequel and pretty good though not as good as the original. Good end to the series.
It isn't that 2 was bad, it was just too similar to 1. Expectations were too high to be fair, but just doing the same thing in a different location was an odd choice
