Convince me LoL is better than dota2

having a ton of fun playing dota2. interested to know why some think LoL is better.
have read a few places that dota2 is less forgiving and has a steeper learning curve which I like. I hate games that spoon feed it to you and dota 2 doesn't do that.
so what gives, why all the love or LoL over Dota2

I like Dota 2 better, I'm not really sure why LoL has the better following. I will say LoL has a group concede option that makes the sure losses go by quicker. So there's that...

DotA 2 is harder and more complex. It is. I can say that as someone that has played thousands of hours of both games. When LoL players who obviously only played a couple games of dota if any try and dog on DotA 2 and fabricate its flaws, it's painfully hilarious and obvious.
The pacing of the game is better. The team compositions are better. The support heroes are better and far more impactful. It's a better game to watch, and somehow the game is more balanced with about a tenth of the balance patches that it's competitors get with almost every single hero in the pool viable.
LoL has spawned a generation of players that think "maining" a character is an effective way to play a game of this type. It reminds me of how sad it was when a pure genre like FPS was destroyed by console noobs and CoD scrubs.

Not sure if you have ever played a game of league with thresh in your game or not. League isn't better than Dota 2 and Dota 2 isn't better than league they both have flaws and benefits. Two completely different games in my opinion

Truth.
I like both for different reasons though. And throw in Smite too. I think it's a bit better than both for certain types of play.

dota2 not being that way is a major deterrent that keeps away the casual gamer, kiddy masses that flock to LoL I'm sure...

yea Sven is my boy
like that he can multi task as a tank, give out a buff to allies, and still put out high damage
haven't played any of the other hero's enough to know if I like them or not. sticking to Sven atm and learing all that I can about him before moving on to another. read somewhere that's a solid way to do it...

with dota2 I'm looking forward to learning about the different hero's so I'll be able to play them if needed and so I'll be able to better counter them when fighting against them

DOTA2 is much better. Ability draft makes the game so much fun.

I played the original dota a ton, then switched to LoL. When dota 2 beta came out i was excited, but i just dont enjoy the game as much as LoL. In LoL ranked it is frustrating when u have a leaver or DC, because the games matter. Nut DOTA 2s system is just too lax. If people are losing they just quit, then everyone else quits because the game is safe to leave.
Also, i like leagues system of mana much better. Being able to use spells 20+ times without having to recall is more like a chess match where dota is like a 10 second fist fight then u are out of mana
