Something May Need to be Done about the Stickys on the Soccer Board.

I have some lurker friends that are huge soccer fans and they told me they don't frequent the Soccer board on TD much because there are too many "MEGA" and "Season long" threads at the top and on the first page.
They love tigerdroppings and frequent the OT, outdoor, rant, and movie/tv board. They wish the Soccer Board was more like those with shorter threads and more specific topics.
Just passing along what I was told from some die hard soccer fans. I personally don't care what happens on the soccer board but I thought I might forward this commentary.

It's not just the stickys, look at all the season long mega threads on the first page.

Eh but those don't have a sticky and keep away clutter of people starting a thread for each team IMO keep it all in one place.

There are THREE stickied threads (two board-run fantasy leagues and one thread tracking American players playing outside of the MLS). There is sometimes a fourth sticky that relates to the transfer windows and a fifth that exists almost solely for posters who don't frequent the board (the "How to Survive" and major tournament draws, for example).
There are only three real "season-long" threads and those are for the clubs with the largest fanbases on TD. They stop the board from only consisting of threads about those three clubs. The other season-long threads are more a joke than anything else.

There was a double posted thread on the rant about crazy girlfriends that the OP meant to put on the OT. GT23 posted the same comment in both about a former tiger and suggestive behavior (although that's subjective). It was meant in jest to make it LSU related since it was on the wrong board, but definitely crossed the line.
