Rustoleum bedliner, Rinoliner...etc. Anyone used this in your boat as a replacement for carpet? Pros and cons? best brands?

Yes, I had used a spray in liner on a offshore boat. I am trying to think of what the name is, but it is used all the time for boats and wet work spaces. Durabak is the name. Google that. Comes in may colors. It lasted about 4 years before needing to be redone. 100% UV protected, easy for barefeet and cooler too!

Oh, you can roll it on or spray it with a chopper gun. If you go with the later, I will sell you the spray gun for say $20, shipped. I have no need of it anymore.

Not saying that you havent thought of this but Id hate for you to find the best product for your need then realize that it only comes in black.

Thx for the info
not looking at white == going in a 17 foot aluminum boat. maybe a green, tan, brown.

Check the link. Any color and very easy to deal with people. Cost at the time under $100 per gallon with rollers, shipped.

Aluminum boat = hydro turf - you will be able to fish barefoot, only thing I would put in an aluminum boat.

I found that the spray liner was a lot cooler then a fiberglass deck. Though it was going to be hard on the feet, but wasn't at all.

Would I do that again? Hell yes!

Bought a boat that came with it factory, in and out. It's really nice and durable, wears on your feet as much as anti-slip fiberglass does. Only problem I've had because of it is numbers/paint doesn't stick on it well and it's hard to place fish stick on rulers, so I just use the ice chest(not Yeti).

SeaDek and Hydro turf both look AWESOME!! Just not sure I can make it look good doing it myself. I think a roll on liner will be the easiest thing for me.

A small air compressor works good with the gun I used. All one has to do is tape off the area you don't want to spray(will have to do that if rolled too) then spray a lite coat. One hour later, spray the second coat and let it sit to dry, longer better, like overnight and just peel off tape.

Had rhino liner on our old hanko. Only way to go on an aluminum imo.

When I dropped off my truck last summer to have line-x put on the bed, they were finishing up doing the deck of a saltwater rig. It wasn't white but it was very light in color

Line-X makes a marine grade now....I've looked into for my bay boat but chickened out.

A couple ppl do it around here but don't have light colors and claim the lighter colors "yellow" w bleach and the sun.
