I always liked Mett's toughness. The guy took an absolute beating last game. He refused to lay down and quit. I wish Zach the best on the rest of this year and a long healthy NFL career. I'm proud to have ZM as our QB.

I'm absolutely disgusted with our offensive line for letting our leader get hammered like that.

There's no quit in that young man.

They should be ashamed of themselves. And it was disgraceful that none of them helped him up and off the field after that last series.

@Jim- if I'm ZM, I'd of punched any offensive lineman in the face for trying to carry me off and then I'd say "you just let me get my arse knocked off, don't act like you care now."

Love what Mett has done while at LSU. Wish him the best of luck going forward.

I agree. I read that on here last night, I was driving home and listening to it on the radio and Hawthorne said that Mett was dragging himself off the field. I assumed he was exaggerating but it sounds like he wasn't.

Why in the world wouldn't any of the OL guys go help him? That's not being a team.

I have to tip my hat to Mett. The guy tries his hardest.

The OL needs a stern talking to. Not dumping on them personally but you are all part of a team. Come on.

He's a gamer. Les ought to apologize to him for leaving him in on the 4th and 28.

I wish him well in the next two games and a shot at the NFL.

Props to Mett for leaving the field with dignity. Right now, this team could use leadership like that.

Tough as nails. He didn't play a great game though despite Bama in his face all night.

He'll do great at the next level though with some protection.

Sorry Les didn't give you a defense this season, Mett. You'll always be my boy.

I agree Mett showed heart. I wonder how many that are bitching that the team gave up or the OL gave up, are the same ones that gave up during different times throughout the game, have given up on next year and generally have no fricking spine whatsoever. Sit and bitch about young men that bust their asses while swilling cold beer. Giving up is some of those on here biggest character trait. Bunch of pussies. Would be easy to beat them in just about anything in life.

Rewatching that was almost more depressing than live. Collins on his arse on third and fourth down.

yeah La'el got killed on that drive. he should stay in school on those plays alone.

on the CB blitz sack, Landry is actually pointing out the blitz (it's his man), but Mett doesn't see it. reminiscent of early last yr.

To that earlier guy, don't bother watching it. It's literally stomach turning to 1/9/12 levels. Watching zach get killed like that was terrible. What a warrior that guy is. Without zach we'd be a .500 team.
