Question about the scenario that Alabama beats us and goes to play in the NC

First off, I'm not saying they're going to win so don't negatier me.
But if they do go on to play in Pasadena, does rooting against them make me "butthurt"? I've not only been told this a handful of times on here but in real life also. I do not get this mindset at all.
What are your thoughts on these conference priders?

Pay their coaches and players the most.
Manipulate the schedule so that they play tune up games all year in prep for the 2 real games they play.
Oh and then there is the non holding calls.

I pull for two teams every Sat, LSU and whatever team plays against Saban. That will be the case even if he leaves and coaches at Texas. That sentiment trumps my SEC pride. Yhat may be wrong or "butthurt" but that's the way I feel.

I'm mostly posi-tiger. And, I'm mostly posi-sec, too. But, I'm ready to relinquish the SEC winning every NC after such a great run. I just hate Bama and Nick Satan. Ironically, other than Oregon and maybe, FSU, every other potential foe is a pretender (Baylor, Clemson, etc) in my opinion. SEC in NC game is almost a given. Like ND last year, OSU hasn't had to play anyone. And, I don't think you should get to play in NC w/o winning your conference title...

Won't happen IYAM. One loss doesn't get in this year. But if they do, I'll pull against them unapologetically. frick the red team and their SEC enablers.
