I haven't listened to M&M in several months, but I was lucky enough to hear today's edition, which will surely go down as a classic.
Mike Greenberg spent at least five minutes comparing Matt Ryan to Peyton Manning.
I am not joking.
He went through their respective stats and playoff records through age 27. I can't go into detail in how lovingly he was talking about Ryan, since ghey porn is banned on TD.
If you missed it try to hear the podcast. A sports journalism masterpiece not to be missed.

Same thing man. I finally turn it on this week after several months and Greenberg is spending all this time pumping up Matt Ryan.. wtf. then goes on to say Atlanta is winning the division.

Wait, did he really compare Matt Ryan to MJ? Holy shite. He actually compared the best player to ever play the game of basketball to a guy who maybe is a top 10 QB in the league and chokes every time in the playoffs. Wow.

I have no connection to Atlanta or Matt Ryan and I know how terrible the show Mike and Mike is....but man some of you guys are are butt hurt, and I'm not sure why.

Because we're freaking sick of ESPN freaking crowning Matt Ryan. They crowned his freaking arse all the way back to Boston College. They handed him the Heisman front runner status and he pissed it away. And he's been the next big thing in the NFL for what, 4 years in a row?
The only difference between Ryan and Romo is that Romo actually didn't choke one time against a shitty Eagles team in the postseason. Matt Ryan makes Tony Romo seem underrated, which I once thought was impossible.

ESPN's agenda including Matt Ryan is a bit odd...they usually don't cater to Atlanta teams in any sport. From a half-hearted Falcons fan, he's a Top 10 QB, but also a choke artist. Doesn't really make many headlines.

But honestly I never really hear then fawn over Matt Ryan...at least not nearly as much as they fawn over Drew Brees.
