Marino had a truly strong distance arm (I'm not talking about javelin tossers -- I mean with accuracy). I once saw him throw a TD from the 40 yd line with little more than a flick of his wrist. When you get up to that distance even all-time greats line Montana, Peyton and Brees have to start hard planting their front foot to get the ball downfield.

You can put Jay Cutler's arm strength up there with Marino's. Yes at times Cutler is a head case but that doesn't take away from his arm strength. He has made some throws in his career down the field off of his back foot that are jaw dropping.
