I feel you, I hope I keep enough work around the house where I don't have to get back on cat work. Do you normally work for the same company or bounce around?

yeah, water was pretty clean. They were cruising the grass mostly. We had our limit @ 9AM & kept fishing until 12:30 or so. We caught 40 & left them biting. That marsh is crawling with reds & it doesn't get a whole lot of pressure.

Heading to Port Aransas towards the end of this week to start pre-fishing for a tournament. I'm sure I'll get some more video from down there.

I've always worked for the same company...and same carrier. I sometimes manage, sometimes two story/steep, sometimes day rate...but now on component fee billing, so it's all good. I'll probably manage my next deployment...haven't done so since last May-July.

Later that day...

Reds on the halfshell:

Season fish with tony's
cover fish with ranch dressing
french fried onions on top

My wife hates grilled fish & she ate 2 of the fillets by herself!

I have always worked the same carrier, but through different companies. I am qualified for other carriers, but have always worked the same one. I spent a lot of time on day rate after Katrina and Gustov, but I was working from home so it was ok. Otherwise I want that fee

Managing is OK $$$, but yeah...day rate running files sucks. For some reason, my productivity SKYROCKETS when they put me on fee.

eta: except today because I'm tired and finally logged on to my personal computer, and dared go to the OB.

Ain't nothing easier than catching reds that way. Ain't nothing funner, neither.

What's crazy is it only gets better as the year progresses!
