Per the Chicago Tribune.

Good god.

This FA period is nuts. There's really not that many options and they are getting way overpaid.

frick this. Let's sit on our money.

Houston is really pissing me off they will either trade their shite for gold or give ridiculous contracts to mediocre players

they just love being the in the middle of the pack

Well if they love being in the middle of the pack then I dont think you should hate them. We are actually trying to be a top 5 - 8 team.

Houston has a lot of potential. They have a solid-overpaid PG, a rising star in Jeremy Lamb, if they are lucky Royce White or Jones will become solid starters. Asik is an average center too. They need more stars and they wont get any by over-paying average players.

No I won't deal with it. Asik is ok. Good defensively. He averaged 3 points a game.

I'm not paying him 8 per.

I'd rather a slow rebuild where we draft our players or find gems, keep financial flexibility when they have a chance at a stud rather than overpaying for mediocrity.

a rising star

????? Only thing he's risen so far are his legs, up the steps, to shake Stern's hand.

I would rather Jason as our 5 then 8mil to somebody only slightly better. Asik sucks for 8 is beast for 5.

He has the potential. He can create his own shot, is dedicated, and can shoot lights out. He is tall and can defend. Does need to bulk up

We already have Gordon and he has star potential. I'll overpay for that.

I'm not overpaying for mediocre players from other teams the second we finally are ok financially. Just save it.

He only played 14 minutes a game in Chicago, his stats aren't going to be pretty. He's not a scorer but is huge body in the middle. If we gave him 25 minutes a game he's going to average 10+ boards and 2 blocks.

$8 million isn't bad.

People bitch on here all the time and act like everything is a "bad contract". Well yeah, it's the NBA. What are some examples of "good contracts"?
