Who does OKC focus on retaining? Harden or Ibaka?

I'm guessing both will eventually get big contracts somewhere when they are eligible. Lets assume OKC can't keep both, who do they try to keep?
IMO, its a no brainer that its Ibaka. He is extremely young and has improved every yr. PLus there is a very limited # of talented bigs who is a defensive stud and can knock down a 10 ft jumper with some consistency!

I don't think they'll be able to afford Ibaka while Harden will be a little cheaper

Harden will get a max deal. Ibaka won't.

You got that backwards.
Teams love overpaying for scorers

I guess we'll see. My money is on the big guy get max contract everytime

My first thought is that you can't let Harden go. He's just too good. Some nights he's better than KD and Westbrook.
But then I think you can't let go of Ibaka either, he is a defensive mad man but is also developing a nice outside shot. He is a big key for this team.
It makes me cringe thinking about losing either of the two.

It's so hard. I think that replacing some of what harden does will be a little easier. I'd also think that Durante and Westbrook will continue to get better so that might help too.

I don't want to lose either. We need to keep Ibaka though. This team needs the defense and has the scorers.

It will never happen but they should keep both and deal Westbrook

They could probably get another year or two out of the combo if they traded Perkins. Leaves a big hole at center though.

IMO, Ibaka is just scratching the surface with how good he can be; whereas, I can't see Harden getting much better than he is now.

i love Ibaka think hes a stud! i just think you need harden over him
we should trade the 10th pick for ibaka seriously tho

This why I think he'll get the max contract from someone over Harden

The hate Westbrook gets is ridiculous. He is by far their second best player and probably their most aggressive. They would be foolish to retain Harden and trade RW.
As far as the OP's question, I'd say sign Ibaka.

Agreed. Westbrook is a top 10 player in the NBA and HE IS STILL IMPROVING!
I would take Westbrook over anyone not named Lebron or Durant if I was to start a franchise.

Ibaka all day. Harden can score but he's a bit of a defensive liability and makes stupid arse fouls.
Harden is more replaceable. I think Ibaka signs for a relative bargain to stay in OKC with his boys. OKC is kinda cheap on cost of living, and his NBA salary now is probably 4% of the GDP of the Congo, but he does have 18 brothers and sisters so his dollars may be stretching thin as it is now.

Ibaka.
OKC can find another shooter to come off the bench easier than a young big man.

IMO, HArden scoring 5 pts in only 22 mins does not help the argument that he is an elite player. Elite players even on off nights are on the floor for 30+.
