To the person or people who placed the "Thank You Jarrett Lee" ad in the Advocate this morning will you please give it a rest. It is time to move on. It's getting old... really old.

It's getting old but there's nothing wrong with it IMO. Their money.

His parents can spend their money however they see fit

OP is just mad bc they took his ad space for the "don't let em hold you back in the NFL JJ" ad.. :deadhorse:

Anything that keeps Miles second guessing what he did on January 9th, I'm in favor of. Money well spent.

I do thank JL for his time here. I think he got a raw deal at times but let's move on.

Thank you Jarrett Lee. You will be remembered forever as a great Tiger for the obvious reasons.
We will always remember and never give it a rest!
Great thread.

I don't think he has second guessed his decision not to play Lee after the Alabama game. I have always been a Coach Miles supporter, but in the last part of our season I took his not playing Lee to say FU to all LSU fans that wanted Lee playing.

I think it is a great gesture. He has been a solid competitor and great tiger for 5 years.

Miles didn't play Lee because he knew he would have been eaten up by the Bama defense.
I personally think he should have made the move at some point due to how poorly Jefferson was playing. But I think there was about a 1% chance it would have made a difference.

This. He in no way wanted to be told what to do. You could tell in the one radio show when he said he would not ask permission to play the players he wanted

The only problem is that they were about 2 months late. They should have had this right after the Arkansas game. We all knew he would never see the field then.

I thought it was embarrassing and tasteless. Trust me, I am as angry as any LSU fan the way the QB situation was handled towards the end of the season. With that being said, why didn't the ad thank the other players on the football team that contributed to this great season? It's just another example of the extreme stupidity of this fan base. Keep it classy LSU fans. Please, can we all just move on!

Because no player has ever been fricked over more than Lee by any coach....ever.
Most fans KNOW Miles fricked Lee this year.
You are an example of the extreme stupidity of this fanbase.

Maybe we should thank every shitty player that comes to LSU with an ad.

I was referring to the ad being placed as extreme stupidity. Everyone knows how the QB situation was handled was extremely stupid! Follow me here, man.

This..... You would swear the way the Lee/JJ people talk about each of them that Lee won all the games by himself and JJ lost the one game by himself..... To take a add out to thank one player is classless... Football is the ultimate team game so how bout a thank you LSU add by thanking 1 player you make all the other players on team seam un-important.... The Defence, ol and RB had much more to due with us being undefeated than either AVERAGE QB....
