And what does he bring to the table? Dude seems like a poor man's Bo Spencer. Jacks up terrible shots, horrible fg percentage, and hes like 5'5.

Who would you rather start over him?

He can knock down shots frong long distance. It's not like we have a bevy of depth to supplant him with.

Gr8 question......Stringer should be coming off the bench...A defensive liability.....Start Turner at the #2 guard ....Backline of Hamilton, OBryant and Warren......5ft6in off guard dont cut it in the SEC..wake up Trent........

i guess you didn't know obryant has had a broken hand and couldn't play for the last few weeks.

We could atleast move Bass to the point and Hicky at the SG. Or most Ralston to SG and have Hicky at the point. Stringer holds no weight

Stringer is shooting a higher FG % than Turner, and is almost identical to Hickey.

He is one of the few guys on the court that can score.

Warren has no chance of playing the 3.

If you do not start Stringer, the best option is to play Isaac

I've wondered this too, but we really need his scoring ability. Although he's not the best, we don't have much else at the guard spot. Dotson and Derenbecker would've helped.

I could see:

Hickey
Turner
Courtney
Warren
Hamilton

Hopefully Isaac keeps improving and he can move into the starting lineup.

Atleast Issac has size and maybe he can improve with experience. Dude has a ton of upside but isn't "money" wiht his jumper. I'll take a hustler player of a spot up midget any day of the week.

that would be all fine and dandy if we had a few other guys that were doing all our scoring.

we struggle to put the ball in the basket, and you wanna take out stringer for issac?

Justin is a monster in the paint. LSU should run the offense inside/out. Issac shouldnt jack up 3s. We have Ralston for that. Issac should play the "slasher role" Drawing fouls and creating contact going to the hole. Plus he can lock up the 2 on Defense. Shot selection KILLS LSU and Stinger is one of the culprits.

our shot selection is atrocious.

it drives me nuts when we make one pass to storm at the junction, and he turns at shoots a fade-away jumper.

I'd rather storm do it than malcolm....I don't think I've ever seen him pass it back out of the post and re-post or anything...he ALWAYS turns and shoots....
