can't schedule each other as non conference games in years that they aren't scheduled to play in conference if Auburn moves to the West. If the rivalry means that much to them, then just do that. This isn't frickin rocket science...

Why should we have to accomodate fricking mizzou?

This whole thing is stupid. If we can't get Texas, FSU, VT, or the like, just send A&M back and call it a day.

That wouldn't work. It's about beating them in conference and have it count that way. The TN/Alabama hatred is pretty strong. Don't see either fan base wanting to end this game as a yearly conference game to accommodate expansion.

Yep, end the rivalry between the two premier teams of the SEC so we can make mizzou and a&m happy. What a clusterfrick of an idea this expansion is.

If you put it that way, why should the rest of the SEC have to accommodate 'Bama and Tennesee by being tied to a permanent opponent from the other division, instead of just rotating year in, year out?

The point being, if Missouri is headed to the west, then the only way Bama and Tennessee play every year is this way. If they don't want to, fine, but quit bitchin...because this is the way it is. I don't like this Missouri shite anymore than you do. I would hate losing Auburn as a division game...but guess what? We have no frickin choice.

F the SEC. Bama, UT, and UT can start a new conference that will have only 12 teams. If the SEC is not going to have the integrity to accommodate rivalries, what is the purpose of being in the conference?

WTF don't you understand? The only way that rivalry ends is if both Bama an Tenn let it. IF it means that much, there's a way around ending it. Don't give me this shite that it wouldn't mean as much if it wasn't a conference game. If it's a frickin rivalry, it'll mean just as much. What? UT and Bama wouldn't hate each other as much if it wasn't a conference game? That's a crock of shite.

Money and prestige.

How many programs have left the SEC and ended up better off for it?

None.

WTF don't you understand.

Bama and UT are the two top teams in the history of the SEC, with one of the biggest rivalries also. Give up the game as normally played so mizzou, a shitty program with absolutely no SEC history can be accommodated.. F that

When the SEC ceases to preserve the integrity rivalries and history of the programs, then it may be time to move on. I know this would never happen but I would still approve of the approach if the current path is continued.

My new conference can start with...
Bama
UT
UT
Notre Dame

Yeah the Texas v. Alabama rivalry has been something.

Nobody really cares about that outside of Tuscaloosa and Knoxville.

We're expanding to ensure that the SEC remains at the top of the heap. Would you rather play Tennessee every year or slowly see our dominance wilt away by conferences with more money to spend on coaches and facilities that overtake ours and then one day you wake up and an SEC team can't win a national title?

frick you and your selfish agenda. This isn't just about Alabama.
