How'd you do this weekend?

We dove Friday and Saturday this weekend out of Venice. Friday was pretty much a wash out. We made 3 dives but thunder storms prevented us from carrying out our plan. On dive #2 me and my buddy went down to 120' and didnt see much besides small AJ and snapper so we started up and I noticed him take off towards the surface. I look up and see a nice Tarpon (~80 lbs) He just a good shot on him and SCHWACK! he sticks the tarpon and goes for a ride. When he did this, a 8' bull shark came in the rig to see what was going on, that was pretty cool to see. He only stayed for a few seconds. I am swimming around looking to shoot a Mangrove when I see a tarpon pass me and head away, I took a really long shot and presumed I missed. When I pulled my shaft back I noticed I had a scale on the end. The one my buddy shot happened to pull off when it got leverage with the rig and thats the one that swam by me
On the next dive, we shot 2 sheepshead and a Jack Creville, BUT there was a ~250 lb Jewfish on the rig. He was massive and amazing to watch. Talk about make you feel small.
That night, somehow Rok's son scored us 2 lbs of fresh Yellowfin Tuna. We ate good off of that!
On saturday we were not really targeting fish but lobster. Although we still carried our guns just in case. On the 1st dive I shot a 42 lb Amberjack (not big but I wanted to make sure I'd come home with meat)
We ended up only catching 4 lobster on the trip, somewhat disappointing.
On the last dive 3 other Hell Divers on a different boat shot 3 nice AJ's (2 60 lbs, 1 close to 80 lbs)
All in all it was a great weekend of diving
BTW if you havent noticed there are Jellyfish EVERYWHERE, and them mother fricker HURT! They arent just on the surface, we got stung 200' down! There were literally hundreds of thousands on 1 rig we dove

All I fished out was cold keystones out the ice chest at the beach, I apologize for all the drunk calls
did get engulfed by a god damn jellyfish, all over my stomach, sides, and back, hurt pretty good, luckily I was drunk enough to get back in the water and suck it up

Went to the spillway this morning. We kept 30 or so fish, mostly big goggle eye again and 3 or 4 sacs and a couple perch mixed in. I think me and my buddy caught 30 or 40 bass between the 2 of us, all 12-13.5"
We also happened upon a hole at the end where we caught 50 or so bream and sacs but only 5 or so were big enough to keep
All in all a good day.

Gotcha, they only caught something like 4 AJ and a bull dolphin
They got to the floater they wanted to tuna fish and they were in the process of towing it away

Yep, the fact he is trying to get in the house makes it even more so. Once they realize they can find food, they don't leave.
