I have been on here a few times asking for duck hunting info or boat launch information and the members of this board have been great. Well now its time I give a little back: Launch Locator Many of you have your favorite launch, but this searches based on Parish, so you may find access points to your favorite spot that you didn't know existed.
It give details about the maintenance of the launch, type of launch, free/fee, and in some cases parking and photos of the launch. Most of this can be found by clicking on the facility ID number. May help the LA native or the one learning the areas.
TIA for your answers to future questions I know I will have.

Thank You!!!
I have spent the last few days trying to find some put in and take out points along the Amite for a long kayak paddle tomorrow morning. This should help a lot.
We normally do the Atchafalaya(sp?) or Bayou Teche, but figured it would be prudent to stay away from those areas unless we wanted to go all the way to Morgan City with the potential (now confirmed) opening or Morganza.
Thanks again as this will allow us to explore many more areas of the state.

Info lacking for the Amite-
Big Johns is $5 per boat and $1 per additional car.
Fred's on the Amite also has a free launch on hwy 42. No boats over '18 should launch, the concrete runs out quickly.
