I thought he still lived in Crowley? Im not aware of a huge gator population there.

Damn, I'd hate to run into that SOB underwater. He could do some major damage. In fact, he looked like he could have also done that out of the water.

He still lives in Crowley but lives out on 1111 heading towards Roberts Cove. There are a few bayous back in that area where it could have come from and got into his pond.
