I have come to the conclusion that "money well spent" and "horses" is incompatible 99.8% of the time.

OP is no different than those who have camps in the Morganza Spillway. Its the risk you take. if your shite gets wrecked in the process, so be it. Its the price you pay to have that camp in that spot.

Come on, son, that’s nonsense. If he were to build a camp NOW below the levee, you’d have a point.

AlxTgr is on your side too, he’s just subtly non-commital.

Oh Alx knows that I know he's on my side. Sorry I didn't mention him.

Now if we have a thread about Mercury engines...

Just like those folks who haul their camper into the Morganza and build a shed over it. Then want to be compensated for the shed when the spillway opens. I guess MB should get a check for his camp.

Not even close to a good comparison.

If somebody came today and built a levee where a levee did not previously exist, that would lead to floods of your camp in situations where it would otherwise not have fl.....

Never mind.

He's from Erwinville. There's maybe two smart people within 5 miles of the Community Park.

Despite our difference of opinion on this. I really am sorry for your bad luck.

There’s no shortage of lawyers in Houma. Maybe you can sue the TPCG for some relief. Hell, there’s probably a class action suit in motion already. Or maybe FEMA will pay to raise your camp.

Either way, all is not list. You can still fish even if all you have to go back to is the landing. Buck up buttercup. If it was easy everyone would be doing it and you’d be pissed at the crowds messing up your fishing.

I live on the Catawba river in Charlotte.

Duke Energy releases dams how they damn well please.

In order to save 10 times the amount of home on lake Norman, they decided tk flood mountain island lake by 9 feet.

It would be fool hardy to tell the people that they owe me a debt of gratitude because my dock flooded.

It just doesn’t come off right.
