*I don't hunt, so please excuse my ignorance*

People say hunting on fenced property is "cheating"; what about those who hunt on tracts of land that are naturally fenced? Lands edged with rivers, interstates, population centers, etc.? How is that any different- both limit the distance the animal can travel.

Also, who here actually goes out and tracks their quarry? The hunters I know sit in deer stands all day waiting for the deer to come to them. The food plots that have been set out for months prior . . . are all these not forms of "cheating" as well?

Again, I don't hunt so high fenced or no fence makes no difference to me.

I've always held the opinon that if it's legal, if you can afford it, it don't infringe on someone else's rights and you enjoy it, do it.

As far as wingnutz voting left well there are those in every crowd.

That's a good point.

You have to draw the line somewhere between fighting the deer butt arse naked with bare hands and shooting one that somebody tied to a tree.

This. I don't care for your politics one bit. There's a board for that on TD. That being said, I respect you for owning your prior statements and taking the heat that comes with those beliefs on the OB.

Don't "cheers" me you damn liberal. I don't want any of your hippie germs. I completely understand why a bunch of hoodlums with no jobs who have been dependent on government handouts for 3 generations would vote democrat. What bothers the hell out of me is why someone who wakes up in the morning to go to work and pays taxes could vote that way. That doesn't add up.

If it makes you happier I'm firmly anti-union and believe that in the presence of OSHA and Fair Labor Acts that Labor Unions have lived past their useful existence.

There are many islands on the Mississippi that they would have to swim to get away. I am sure 100% of us would give a left nut to go hunt them. How is that different.

+1

Besides the Union part, my dad is the same way. I don't discuss politics with him (anymore). He is the only person that I personally know that voted for Obama.

Deer swim the Mississippi river every day, if they feel safe living on those islands it is there choice

Like someone said earlier on one end you can go hunt them with your bare hands and on the other end they are tied up to a tree and you shoot them, everything in between is where we all sit, and everyone has to choose where they draw the line
