Over here in the lagoon, 6AM to 8AM mullet colored super spook Jr. 8AM-noon cant beat a gulp jerkbait on a jighead.. or if its not windy and the reds are tailing a 3" gulp shrimp on jig head.

avocado green with red glitter shrimp or cocoho (h&h brand), w/ or w/o the red tail and either tight line or under a cork

For redfish, Manns Baby 1-Minus and Cocahoe w/ spinner. For specks, Tsunami and whatever cocahoe works that day.

Speaking of, when does the bite really start up around the slidell area for specks again?

For some reason I'm thinking April but I can't remember.

Bass Assasin sea shad in salt and pepper chartruse tail in clear water. Stained water black with a chartruse tail grub with a wide tail.

Zoom Fluke in pearl white works well too.
