Not knocking it just didn't realize they were so popular. I grew up throwing open face. That's all I've ever seen people bass fish with and I've fished with hundreds of people.

Haven't really fished them much sofar this year. Cought a few out my pond up to about 4 lbs. All released to be cought again another day. All banks are loaded with spawning bass right now. Water is so clear, one can see 5' down. I will be putting some dye in after the bass spawn is done.

man, i haven't wet a line since the calender turned. if it wasn't so damned cold right now, i wanted to slip off into the crick friday, but i'm sure i'll have to work and i ain't getting balls deep in that ice just yet
