I'm no Vet, so don't hold me liable.
But my dog ate something poisonous a while back. The Vet said you should not let them eat anything for 24 hrs. The food will actually hold the poison in instead of letting them throw it up, which is the best method of getting it out of their system.
Secondly, make sure it check the color of it's Gums. If they are pale pink or white, they need a visit quickly.
Just sharing what the Vet said over the phone.
ETA - I would go ahead and take it in, since its open business hours. Our situation was around midnight on a Saturday and the only option for the emergency clinic.

this is for anemic dogs, usually involved with zinc poising if was the case

She does have large feet and is on my list of things to make fun of her for.
