Its people like him who keep driving the prices up and make it difficult as frick to find an AR right now. It's ridiculous. I'd assume he's gonna have the ATF and the IRS on his arse, because I'm sure he's paying taxes on his profits.

Pretty sure without a FFL, you aren't supposed to buy any guns with the sole purpose to immediately resell them.

Mr Rattlebucket buys said firearm. Mrs rattlebucket says no way after i get home and proudly display said firearm. Firearm goes on gb.com promptly. I have a spending problem and continue to repeat behavior weekly.

I dont fault this guy. If theres a specific law then ok. But this is america man. When does govt tell me ive owned something short enough or long enough?? Thats so commie of them.

Like I said, I don't make the laws, but what the guy is doing is not Kosher in the eyes of the Federalies.

People like him are part ofthe reason for the guns and ammo shortage though.

People like him? I have to disagree. Our POTUS and current admin is the catalyst

I know the current administration is the catalyst for the problem but people like him aren't helping the shortages one bit. Agree to disagree on that point.

You're also not buying every AR you can get your hands on and flipping them.

Theres no length of time you must own a gun before you can sell it. The federallies don't care for people who are buying guns or ammo for that matter with the sole purpose of flipping it. Like I said if you do it a handful of times, they probably won't give a shite, but if you're doing what Otis is doing, prepare your anus.

He's done it close to 10 times in the last 3+ weeks alone and that's just what I'm aware of...

Exactly, the feds are gonna want answers. If you've seen him do it 10 times, he's probably done it even more that you don't see, ya know because you work for a living. People like this just redass the frick out of me.

As well it should. And that's exactly why I turned him in.

The fact that this motherfricker might be on welfare to boot and you and I are PAYING for these fricking guns is just enough to make my head explode.

Oh you can bet you're sweet arse we have contributed to the cash in his pockets, because once again, we have to work for a living and pay taxes.

ETA: Good thing my lunch break is about over, because I could rant all afternoon about this horseshite.

I've got three problems with what this guy is doing: 1. He's collecting unemployment benefits for not working. So...he's getting a profit from these straw sales AND receiving unemployment from the premiums his former employers have paid while not reporting the money he has earned from the sales. 2. He's not paying any income taxes, social security, and medicare from his sales. The rest of us working folks are paying our share but he isn't. 3. If he wants to sell guns for a living, that's fine, but get a FFL liscense and do it the right way and stop cheating the system and the rest of us taxpayers by collecting unemployment and not reporting earned income.

is it illegal to buy and sell complete uppers with the intent to make a dollar? Or does the FFL lower have to be included to make it illegaL?

I wish we could all do this. Just pay sales tax, that should cover the roads and schools and some military

I understand the outrage. I pay taxes too. I just dont like the ambiguity of the law. And i certainly dont like how our govt targets on captialists.

I don't know the answer to that question, Chad. I'd hafta research the regs and find out. Any FFL dealers here on the board? They'd know.

Definitely this. Al Capone didn't go to prison for killin folks. He went to prison for not paying income taxes on his liquor sales. (illgotten gains)

You should be good on the uppers because they don't have serial #s.

You can order these and have them shipped to the house without a FFL transfer.
