I have 3 areas at my farm that have some kudzu growing, it is not out of control yet and I want to keep it that way.
I bought 2.5 gallons of crossbow herbicide to help keep it from growing and hope to knock it back a decent bit.

Crossbow is mix of triclopyr and 2-4d.

Going to post on H&G board as well.

It should , but will take multiple applications, get it before it becomes a problem

One more question (it’s probably on the label somewhere), do I need a surfactant with it?

It should work fine on kudzu without adding a surfactant.

What is the percent active of triclopyr in Crossbow?

Label Read pages 3 and 4. A high dose will tend to the kudzu.

Thanks, I’ve never looked at a Crossbow label. They make a straight triclopyr that is around 60% ai I believe.

Remedy is 61.6% triclopyr. I mix my own with 24-D and surfactant.

Yea, I was thinking about Triclopyr 4 probably the same thing.

6 Oz per acre of Metsulfuron Methyl is the best kudzu killer I have found

I've never used Crossbow, but I've used Remedy on kudzu and it destroys it. Mix at the higher rate on the label.

Diquat will certainly knock it back, only issue is having to reapply every 4 weeks so it doesn’t come back.
