Aint no different around here than most hunting camps or fishing camps. Outsiders are welcome but should expect some good hearted ribbing just dont come in pointing fingers and bitching and moaning unless you want to be escorted right back out the door.

Excellent point, except you can't tear it down on the OB like you can at the camp

Pure hunting tradition in the white man sense, would be dog hunting. So is running a bunch of dogs through a thicket and having 20 hunters on the edges waiting to shoot deer make us a better hunter? I'm just asking, b/c that is the more traditional way to hunt.

I mostly lurk this board, but I hate that I missed this fella.

We don't need bait and stands. Sons of bitches try and ram our cars there are so many of them around here. This was in an urban area bordering a state park. You can see my reply to the call below too:

I prefer to shoot them while they are tied to a tree anyhow.

The guy's a bitch if he doesn't re-enter this thread and try to save his name. Otherwise, he will be universally hated by all OBers

Me too dude, I practice persistence hunting. I chase the deer till they get tired, then I jump on their back and strangle them to death. True story.

Lazy arse tree stand hunters

i like to set traps. I'm just to lazy to go back and check them. I've let alot of good deer meat spoil that way. Shame on me.

I have to say, the 1st time I saw people talk about hunting over feeders and corn on here, all I could think was don't let Fish and Game catch you. Blew my mind when someone said it was legal. I'd have to say it pretty much takes some sport out of it for me. Having said that, you also have to understand it's illegal here and always has been so my perspective is quite different.

If you want a challenge try shooting them at night with a head light...NOT A SPOT LIGHT, a HEAD LIGHT. shite is hard.
