Who else loves dumping full mags in their AR as fast as they can do it?

Just to see how tight you can hold the group?

LOVE THAT shite.

I do that with all my semi autos but this new Bushmaster MOE Dissipator makes that a real freaking pleasure. Especially with the sling I've got on it locked in. Never knew I could hold it that tight till last Sunday.

I'm becoming a serious AR fanboi and I never even liked those rifles before. And yes I'm sure some of you know the reputation of the bushmaster carbon 15. This ain't that by a longshot.

FUN FUN FUN.

Hmmm... well I didn't take any pics of the targets, but I do have pics of my brother demonstrating his recoil control stance with it. Notice that he's pointing with his finger on the opposite side of the fore end. Where that finger points, the bullet goes.

Damn thing is SICK.

So wrapping your hand around the vertical foregrip is suicide?

I've tried that hold before, and I'm not a fan. It just doesn't feel natural to me. But people say it works so to each his own I guess.

Nice rifle btw.

Eta : what kind of sling are you using?

The a-hole by our camp does. He's always popping off rounds for no reason when I'm trying to hunt

I was given 6 shells to kill 8 squirrels. This kind of thing could not possibly be more foreign to me. Shooting just to shoot? WTF?

Yeah he's gotta be careful about wiping his arse with his left hand or he'll blow himself away.

As for doing it during hunting season, I'd be pissed too. But doing it right now just to see how tight you can get the groups is a fun way to spend a few bucks, lemme tell ya.

The sling I'm using is a VTAC 2 point padded. Takes a little getting used to but once you do it's amazingly convenient.

It's not just to shoot though. If you need to get some heads down while yours stays up, you might just need to let em fly. If you've never practiced it, that's all they do. If you have, you can hit shite consistently. But yeah, I feel ya. Here's my precision rifle.

My old man's the same way. He can't understand why we go shoot pistols for the hell of it.

Practical combat shooting is a perishable skill. You fight how you practice. Which of course is why I don't dump whole mags very often. Mostly try to double tap on the move. I was just very happy with the results the other day that I did and figured I'd see who else loves just burning ammo for the pure pleasure of it.

Don't you tournament fish? Fishing just to fish?

All for the fun in it.

Without question. It's just not something I understand. I mean, I don't get knitting, civil war enactment or soccer either but that doesn't mean I think people should not do it.
