You do know that any Ford dealer will service any Ford vehicle, right?
Oftentimes is wise to buy cheapest, then service local.

Have a GMC Z-71.
Second one. Both great trucks.

However, long before Nissan and Toyota made a V8 motor, Dodge had by far the worst fuel economy of the big 3 in full size trucks.
Well fuel efficiency wasn't exactly a concern until recently, so I'm not sure how that qualifies their motors as terrible...but okay.

I've never owned one so I guess I can't speak to their longevity our power.
Oh...and therein lies the problem with truck threads.

the 5.0 is a great motor, I've owned 4 of them including a forged boss and no issues.
The 5.0 really wakes up with the 3.73 gears both in the F150 and mustang.
I hate to see the day ford goes all ecos.

10+ years ahead of tundras
i had a 2013 F150 FX4. After about 40K miles the slip yoke stareted giving my problems. The backnend would shake and vibrate almost like a rear end collision. The fix was to have to have the dealer lube it which costs about $400. Even though my truck was under warranty they considered it a wearable item. Problem persisted every six months. Ford wouldnt stand behind there POS truck. I traded on a 2016 Tundra and couldnt be happier.
The Tundra interior won't overwhelm you in fancy shite but it is solid. The entune entertainment is far superior to Feds mysync crap. Its a solid truck with a solid reliable engine. The only thing I wish I had that Ford offers is the F150 lockers.that was a great feature that Toyota doesn't offer.

Yep, it's like asking the OB what they like best in a girl, a nice arse, big tits, or a beautiful face?
There is no correct answer.
