No way duck hunting is better in NLA than south. Camerone parish alone is one of the best duck hunting areas in the country much less the state. And personall i would take fighting a redfish over a bass any day

Exactly. I can bank on the fact that he has never sat in a War Eagle in an oxbow in NELA Mississippi River.

Well if we are talking numbers central and nela crushed the competition in our little contest this year.

Where do you think all those ducks migrate from? When do think NELA starts getting big birds as opposed to south la? I know 10 years ago there were millions of big ducks in South la, but things are different now.

Not to change subject, but I just had second guy tell me they came across turkey nests with eggs in them. Is this normal?
Different story but still about turkeys. A couple years ago I was up doing some work in the woods. Drove the 4 wheeler off a plot and jumped a deer. Cut the bike off to watch the deer, and heard a hen going nuts. Called to her a couple times, then her hatchlings come flying out from under the bike. Still one of the coolest things I have seen in the woods. No hatchlings were harmed in the making of this story.
