Where would you go to bowfish carp in S to SE LA.

I have some buddies in town from Oklahoma who want to bow fish some carp. Idk anything about it. Is that even possible anywhere from Morgan city to SE LA?

Not in SELA but Deer Park lake in Concordia parish along the Mississippi River is loaded with grass carp and floodlight east up against the willows.

Koolazzcat has it nailed. LDFW just shocked a 92 pound grass carp in Concordia Lake. That’s a big fish.

There is brackish water near Hopedale/Shellbeach and you can bowfish all the carp you want.

Anywhere with ponds in back of the levee.
