You may've heard this said before, but you "carry to be comforted, not comfortable".

Granted it'll be neither if you don't strap it on.

PP,

I mean what works for you in terms of holsters? I've tried em all and really never can get comfortable, especially in warm weather attire.

I understand you've carried a Ruger LC9 in an ankle holster. Have you tried carrying the LC9 IWB or in a pocket? If so, what holsters have you used?

I'm a thin dude and don't know that I can pull any of these off. I'll just strap that shite outside my belt.

Me too and there arent many ways for us to conceal well. I can do my LCP easily but the LC9 is a little more tricky. IWB is the best though. I will just go with the LCP and pocket carry when I tuck I believe. Have a tuck holster to try though.

Even a thin dude can IWB carry w/ right combo of holster, gun and clothing. For example, you'll prolly have a hard time cc a Glock 19 at 3 o' clock w/ skin tight jeans and a skin tight tucked in white t shirt. Look at pics on net of folks cc and you'll catch on pretty quickly to what does and does not work.

Ive played with it at home and I def have better luck with a lower riding holster at 1-2 o clock. I will learn a lot more and find my sweet spot once my permit comes in and I can CC.

Carrying is supposed to be comforting, not comfortable....

If you must carry something comfortable, go to a tiny pocket gun.

LC9, cant remeber the name of one the IWB holsters ( have a couple) but the other is a Blackhawk, Blackhawk pocket holster for my LCP, and dont know the brand of the belt either but its a thick, sturdy belt.

I agree, but just from what Ive tried on some are definately more comfortable than others.
