Great knives. I own a Delica, Endura and a Mini Grip but the Kershaw Skyline is my current EDC and I love it.

I had a launch for a few months. It was a little too big for my edc tastes so I sold it. It was a well made knife though.

Glad to hear that. I'm still trying to figure out when I'll even get the damn thing. Their customer service line leaves something to be desired...

The wife carries one daily. She carries one of The Ken onion models. It works for her and she uses it a bunch as a leo. Its assisted opening and she's never stabbed herself with it in 5+ years.

I've never carried a kershaw, but few spyderco, sog, and crkt. Not too of the line but I've never had issues with any of them except one crkt m16 that would get really loose and I'd have got tighten it ever week or so.

Don't you dare fricking say that about a company that I've bought a product from. The fact that I own one of their products means they can do no wrong. Have a downvote for providing honest feedback.

a lil sensitive huh?

I never even look at up/down votes.

Who cares?

I'd guess there are a lot of companies with poor customer service this week... Mine included.

I'm thinking he was being a little sarcastic, no worries.

But I've called their customer service line twice and have received no help or eta on my purchase.

I have two of their folding knives with the locks. I like them. Very sharp. Bought the second one because I thought I lost the first one.

If you got a Kershaw that wasn't sharp it was a factory defect, their claim to fame ihas always been factory shaving sharp knives. It's all about the steel in any knife, if it's real cheap it has real cheap steel in it. If it's expensive then it should have an exotic steel like S30V ect.
Kershaws were first only made with Japanese AUS 8 steel (good) and some still are but they use China, Swedish Sandvic and some powdered metal exotics,. They usually use 3CR China in their bottom priced knives which is junk except for a machettes IMHO.
