Yeah, the worst of it is trying to get your breath weak enough that it couldn't power a tractor. I went through a pint of dr t's with no relief

It's pretty much just about over now. The draw down is starting in the spring, very few new hires going on, and it's a lot less money than it was 2 years ago. At least for Afghanistan. There's still overseas jobs to be had, but they're running dry here.

I wouldn't want to try it now. Offshore on a 14/14 or 7/7 would be what I'd want to end up doing. I'd live to find a farm in the Midwest or plains that needed a hand more than anything. My dream job is waking up at daylight and getting on a tractor and not getting off until dark. Not a lot of money to be had, but it would be rewarding, to me at least

Meh, I'm sick of being gone more than I'm home. Miss to much shite when I'm gone.

That's what I did from 10th grade until last year. If I could have made a living doing it I would have never went to college.

Going to bed at night worn out and looking forward to going back to work the next day is something you can't put a price on. Life was great in those days.

At the camp. Had woodies and teal with deer sausage in one hell of a brown gravy. Purple hull peas with bacon and jalapeños. Garlic bread. ML4L.

I would be fine with that if I were home everyday. I've got a few things I'm looking into so maybe in the new year something will happen.
