The 2 hour flight between Seattle and Juneau isnt my biggest concern.
Its the 16 hours of flights it would take me to get to and from Seattle...and getting to J-town and Hertz not having my reservation for my economy dog team and sled lined up for me. Not to mention my inability to wear my majority wardrobe of Florida-style jorts, crocks, and wife beaters up there.
And I would have to hire a personal servant to carry me on their back because I dont walk well on ice or snow

The crocs may get some funny looks but shorts on a warm sunny day is pretty normal.

You know, man...anyone can do those trips. People think Ak is some far, distant place but Juneau is only a two hour plane trip from Seattle. These kind of trips are fairly common here, and lots of folks from the "outside" do it every year.
Much of Alaska is public land and all you folks have equal access to me,
That's a fricking lie, you bullshitting piece of shite...don't anyone believe any of the crap Roger spouts off about it being easily available to outsiders.
(Roger...STFU...I like having my own playground)

And, for those paying attention, it's easier to get to Anchorage and that area has much much more access via the road system. Just keep that in mind...
Just doing my part to keep Southeast the way it is...

Woulda taken 6 if I wouldn't have stashed my 8hp and a gas tank in Darlington. Ended up making it to around 432 in a day, made it to darlington and my motor the next day at noon and made good time after that. Didn't have anywhere else to put fish by that time, so the rest was just joyriding and only fishing the really good holes. we put in on a Friday morning an pulled into Watson Sunday night a little after dark.

Bout 10 days on offshore construction barge we did not go far or fast (speed bout 1 kt) as we had platform jacket on the hook. It was 600’ long and crewed by philipinos – I swear if you stood still for more than 20 minutes they would have had you’re a** cleaned pressure washed and painted – the cleanest ship I have ever been on. Had some coonass comm. divers teach me how to play bouray – only cost $100 or so probably pretty cheap lesson – they took it easy on me. I am waiting for a navy type especially a submariner to say I have no f’n idea but we left WA in Sept and got back 4 months later ……….
