Guys,

What are the fish biting on lately in the basin. I know this is vague but any suggestions will be appreciated. We are launching at Boutte LaRose tomorrow.

The bream in Henderson are biting. Water is finally wanting to go down.

Where yall are launching water is stupid high. Maybe try running down into cow island but I havent heard any good reports coming from there lately

We tore up the bream a few times last month with worms under cork. 3-4’ of water in cypress trees. Big ones were deeper into the trees.

Going tmw with a couple of buddies out of Henderson. First time brim and sacalait fishing for me in over 30 years. I'm a saltwater feller. Totally looking forward to it

It’s a nice change of pace once In a while! And those lil bream tater chip feelayz are pretty damn tasty.

Also way easier on the checkbook than salt

Well, had a blast in Henderson yesterday. We jerked lips all day long. Came home with 30 fish total, brim, chinquapin, and a few sacalait. Gonna have to hit the freshwater more often for sure!

and a few sacalait

please help me out with this, I’ve been fishing there hard the last 2 years and have yet to been able to figure our the sac’s. Y’all fish for them intentionally or did they just come on the crickets/worms?

Only got 2 sacs, and both were caught on brim rigs with live worms. My buddy who took me was surprised as hell. He usually targets sacs end of summer beginning of fall. That's when water drops and he knows where they stack up
