I am forbidden from saying what our families favortie call is....due to an issue betwixt a family member and the owner...

I do have a custom call fro Eli. That I retired after he died though.

But if I had to choose one call to go with

Whistle.....not even close

Wow I have been looking hard at those RNT if you had to pick only one which would be your favorite?

If you can blow a single reed get a daisy cutter. Runner up goes to the original

If you can't or have never tried go with the short barrel. Runner up is the Daisy slayer

Old school duck commander cut down for close, Duck commander triple threat for general purpose and haydels red leg if I really want to get after it. I also blow a gadwall call, a homemade woodies whistle, a 6n1 whistle and a teal call. I have a whole host of others as well but those are what I'm currently digging. I change them out depending on where I'm hunting, but the cut down always gets brought along.

Ha, my GA duck lease buddies from my time spent in Atlanta gave me a beat up Kritter getter. It's missing the guts but is a unique looking call.

I'm an echo guy. Love em, but I've been wanting to try a lares for several yrs now. May get one for this season. All my rnt's are collecting dust.

For mallards I blow an old school faulks bamboo. Can't remember the model. I also have a pluckin crazy that's pretty good but I like the faulks better.

In timber a Cocobolo double reed that I turned myself. If I need to get loud, I have a Big Guy's Best Single Reed that will scream. I have probably 40 calls from various manufacturers that I try at different times but those two are always on my lanyard. Other than that the 6 in 1 whistle and a quaker boy woodie call.
