Weightless skinny dipper, gold rogue or swim jig

$20 chatter bait
Never paid more than $15 and usually around $13. They start working/vibrating immediately, the skirts don't get pulled off, the hooks are awesome and the trailer keepers are great too. Your trailers stick.
And since I rarely lose baits, it's a long time investment and I don't need to buy new ones.

super fluke
My all time favorite lure. Works just as well in saltwater too. I do prefer the DOA to the Zoom though. A lot tougher material

This baw can fish. First one I’ve seen post a lipless crankbait. If you notice professional bass fisherman and experienced fisherman in general chunk a lipless crankbait. Never had much confidence in them other than a blue/ chrome, black/ chrome rattl trap saltwater fisherman. My neighbor fished BASS or whatever the top league was in late 90s early 2000s and he’s the one that insisted I fish it more often and get some confidence in it.
In prespawn I’m flipping a 3/8 - 1/2 oz jig.
A jackhammer in spot remover or b hite delite
Lipless brown, orange, red black crankbait.
And if we have a strong cold front come in I’ll fish a fluke or fluke jr very slow along with a 1/4 oz jig. I actually caught an 8# on a 1/4 oz strike king bitsy jig the day after a strong cold front.
