I always used a trilene knot on everything for 35 years now.

Think my boys use the polymer knot. I’ll check out the jam knot tonight and get them to learn it also if it’s that good.

I fish a straight palomar with fluro and use a double uni for my fluro to braid… never had a problem

Every pro ties the palomar so i dont doubt its a better knot. I had problems with it - im guessing when i would cinch it up i was doing something wrong.
