Fish around grass at daylight or dark, or during a thunderstorm in the middle of the day
eta: also a good bait to throw on logs and tops

I find with a buzz it is all about the speed. SLOW and steady. Cast at a slight angle to structure so it runs almost parallel but runs into the structure where you think there will be bass. When it hits the structure, point your rod away and without changing the speed or cadance of the bait change directions. BOOM.

I have caught fish on them at night, and it's a blast. I miss less at night to since I don't see the hit.

bingo. Like I said earlier, as slow as you can go and can keep it on the surface.

At night I always use a buzz with a clacker in black and blue. Hell I almost always use one with a clacker anyway. Day time it is white.

I like three or four blade buzzers also since they create more lift and you can pull them slower. They grab more wind on the cast though so you lose a little distance.

I always use a trailer hook on buzzes.

Slow is important but so is steady. I have seen guys crank them in and you can hear the bait going zzittt-unh, zitt-unh all the way in since they reel faster on the top of the turn and slower on the bottom back of the turn of the handle.

Really have nothing to add to that... it's exactly what I do.

Downsize your spinner baits.

This.

I always go with the smallest spinner bait that I can throw with the tackle I am using. Also, I like to use a willow blade.

I almost always replace the main willow. Pretty much every manufacturer uses at least a half if not full size too big of blade, for me. Bass love the Hildebrandt replacements.

I'm a Colorado guy most of the time, but will use willow when the shoe fits.

I burn mine on top of brush/grass and go for the reaction strikes when the fish are aggressive early in the morning. That's my favorite way to catch fish.

This seems like more work than I want to put in fishing.

I've never caught a speck or red on a Gulp! shrimp. The pinfish rip them to hell before the large fish can get to it I guess
