I've been shooting Easton FMJs for several years. Been seeing some different arrows out there with smaller diameters (VAP). Haven't done much research. I like a heavy hard hitting arrow.

I do, and FMJs have a carbon core with aluminum casing. This is the main reason I dislike them because over time they bend like an old school aluminum.

I started shooting them longer distances for when I head out west. I can tell a big difference as far as wind moving them left and right. I used to shoot Gold Tips, had no trouble out if them except at further distances. The larger diameter has more surface area for wind to catch. I'd still feel comfortable out to 50 or 60 yards with Gold Tips though.

Black Eagle Rampages. They are a fairly light small diameter arrow and come with 56gr halfouts to give you a high FOC.
