Did fairly well Friday and Saturday. Today the wind picked up and the specks shut down in our area.

Big dam at Rollover. It's down hwy 82 in Vermilion Parish.

Caught about 20# last Saturday, and about 20 yesterday. Wait till the fall, they'll all be this size.

Thanks man.

We were trying to catch bait. I like to fish, but when they are running this size, I said screw fishing; I'll just stay here and throw this net all day. I was only catching 2-3 a throw, but at that size, it's worth it!

Been hearing about that place but never went.

I stayed home and cooked Pork fingers and sausage in a gravy yesterday and deer and sausage in a gravy today..

I fished 4 days last week and I have 3 days at Toledo this week coming up, so I'm taking a break.

Nice shrimp and I love seafood Gumbo.

Few bass, few sac-au-lait.

Old River. Too hot to fish. I was back at the camp at 9am each morning.

We're not getting the numbers of sac-au-lait out there this year, but the ones we are catching are humongous. Next time I go I'm going to keep a few to mount. I've caught 1000's of sac-au-lait there in past years, but this year probably caught less than 50, but probably my 10 biggest ever.
