Went yesterday to black lake and caught 1 shy of getting skunked. Small flounder. Buddy was fishing with me caught two keeper flounders and a red. He caught them on three back to back casts early then nothing else after that. Strange (bad) conditions, bait fish were thick but tide wasn't moving at all.
I forgot my hat so I've got a pretty red and stiff face, neck and ears.
Beautiful day but hot as shite. Water was like glass everywhere. Mapped a few potential areas for future.

Those are some nice clean crabs. Were they full? I want to go crabbing so bad.

Did a solo trip in Grand Isle on Sunday. Put the boat in right before 10:00am and was back at the launch for 12:00. The wind was whipping pretty good so I fished the North side of the island. Caught several small trout and reds. Ran out of shrimp and caught a few on a Vudu under a cork. Ended up with 7 keeper trout, should have had more but it was fun.

We got a two man limit on flounder in Sabine Lake Saturday. Only 2 specks though. My nephew lives in Texas and we launched on the Texas side so we had to follow Texas law. We could have had 10 limits of flounder though. We were catching them on every cast.

Caught 5 of these at the pond on my parents land. They all went back in the water.

They were full. Some more than others, but even the lesser of the two were still full.
They were running pretty slow - ended up with 4 dozen. Had to hop around every so often once it got slow. Every boat down there was crabbing the the pressure is full on them right now
