i just tie it.

ETA
basically lay them over each other a couple inches. tie an overhand knot but go through TWICE. works great

I wanted a loomis bad, but I can't justify $250+ on a rod.

A duckett is a great rod and its only 170 on the high end . It's the best purchase I've ever made

I like split grips, but not the biggest fan of cork.
