You will have to excuse my ignorance, are most of the place you are walking in on and hunting like small streams, rivers or marsh like areas?
Anytime I've ever seen hunting in Oklahoma it is either on a small creek or in dry fields with occasionally cattle ponds.

I've walk-in hunted just about everything here. Small rivers, half-acre ponds, edge of an 8,000 acre reservoir, 40 acre flooded lake bottom, flooded backwaters off of rivers. I'll see if I can find a pic of my favorite spots.
ETA:
1/2 acre farm pond
Small river
40 acre lake bottom
Same bottom frozen solid this Jan:
Flooded willows with a stream flowing through them:
Another flooded marshy area:
So as you can see, there's lots of different walk-in habitat and at different times of the year each one can be excellent.

What part of Wy are you hunting? We are leaving for a ranch near Gillette I have hunted for over 10 years. I am bringing 6 friends to hunt Antelope and Mulies. I will guide/ cook for them as all but one are first-timers. I will hang out with the rancher as we have become friends. I am bringing my shotgun to kill ducks as I check out stock tanks and drainages. And no, I am not making any money off of them. Hunting out West is special.

Have fun in Wyoming. Went to Idaho on an elk hunt last year. My biggest regret was not buying a mule tag as well. I could have shot quite a few. I remember coming home and on my next deer hunt in Louisiana I thought "this sucks" . Have fun and take lots of picture man. Enjoy every minute of it. Good Luck!

We have a group of 5 as of now with similar plans. Hunting with an outfitter outside of Wichita Falls, TX the first day, then DIY on SW OK public land for a few days starting with the opening day of the 2nd split.
