So do most grinders come with the sausage stuffer when putting ground in the bags or is that a separate accessory?

I can see the benefit if you're doing a TON of meat but for the DIY guy doing 1-2 deer a year it's probably not necessary

Get one with a wide throat and a quiet motor. Don't shop by horsepower because there are some 3/4 and 1 horsepower units that are small and extremely loud. I have one and am going to buy something different very soon. It's the weston 33-1301-W. It says it will grind 5 lb a minute but good luck shoving that much through it in that amount of time. It's not so bad if you just plan on running solid chunks through it in one pass. The real misery is if you double grind. You also need ear plugs to run the damn thing. I really wish I bought a more commercial style unit the first go round. This thing is more of a small batch tool for the kitchen and not game processing.

Every one I’ve seen comes with the stuffer attachment. It’s a heck of a lot easier letting the grinder stuff the links than grinding it then putting it in a stuffer for stuffing.
